What is Chemical Engineering?

Chemical engineering is the management of processes which are used to up-grade materials by changing their physical and chemical properties. It is a key engineering discipline, which combines knowledge of basic chemistry and mathematics with engineering principles and real world economic considerations.

Guidelines for Homework and Quizzes

  • All homework must be handwritten except the computational ones.
  • Write clearly and neatly.
  • Write your name and student number on the right top of each paper.
  • Give the solutions in ascending order.
  • Write the page number on each paper.
  • Use staples to attach your papers.

Quizzes: (Each rule you don't obey will cut 5 points from your quiz)

  • Write clearly and neatly.
  • Write your name and student number on the right top of each paper.
  • Give the solutions in ascending order.
  • Bring your calculator with you. Exchanging calculators with your friends is prohibited (It can be treated as an act of copy and you can get zero from that quiz).

 

Note: You can use both sides of the paper for both homework and quizzes.
