I received my Ph.D. from University of Florida, Chemical Engineering Department in Gainesville, FL, in 2006. There, I worked with Prof. Ranga Narayanan on the stability of liquid bridges both experimentally and theoretically. Then, I had a post-doctoral experience for two years at Carnegie Mellon University, Mechanical Engineering Department, in Pittsburgh, PA with Prof. Nadine Aubry. My work at CMU focused on the applications of the electro-hydrodynamic instabilities to microfluidics. I joined the department of Chemical Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 2008.
